the characteristics of global shale nanoparticles can be analyzed from two aspects: surface characteristics and internal characteristics gas development status
the global shale gas resource is 457 trillion cubic meters, accounting for about 50% of the unconventional natural gas resource, which is similar to the global conventional natural gas resource, mainly distributed in North America, Central Asia, China, Latin America, the Middle East, North Africa and Russia
up to now, only the United States and Canada have conducted commercial exploitation of shale gas. The total reserves of shale gas resources in the United States are about 187.5 trillion cubic meters, and the amount of technology that can be developed is more than 24 trillion cubic meters, ranking first in the world. At present, more than 20 shale gas blocks have been implemented, which are mainly distributed in the southwest, North Central and northeast of the United States. From 2005 to 2011, shale gas production in the United States increased from 20billion cubic meters to 180billion cubic meters. It is estimated that by 2035, shale gas production in the United States will reach 400billion cubic meters, accounting for 49% of its total natural gas production
driven by the successful development of shale gas in the United States, many countries, such as Britain, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Mexico, Australia, South Africa, have expressed great enthusiasm for the development and utilization of shale gas
development potential and layout of shale gas resources in China
shale gas resources in China have great development potential, wide distribution area and reserves close to those in the United States, but they are generally buried deep and difficult to exploit. According to the report "national shale gas resource potential investigation and evaluation and favorable area selection" issued by the Ministry of land and resources, the geological resource potential of shale gas in China is 134.42 trillion cubic meters (excluding Qinghai Tibet region), and the recoverable resource potential is 25.08 trillion cubic meters (excluding Qinghai Tibet region)
since 2004, the Ministry of land and resources has organized the investigation and evaluation of shale gas resource potential and the optimization of favorable areas nationwide, and divided China's land areas into five regions: the upper Yangtze and Yunnan Guizhou Guangxi regions, the middle and lower Yangtze and southeast regions, North China and northeast regions, northwest regions and Qinghai Tibet regions. Among them, the recoverable shale gas resource potential in the upper Yangtze and Yunnan Guizhou Guangxi regions is 9.94 trillion cubic meters, accounting for 39.63% of the national total; North China and Northeast China are 6.7 trillion cubic meters, accounting for 26.70% of the national total; The middle and lower Yangtze River and Southeast China are 4.64 trillion cubic meters, accounting for 18.49% of the national total; Northwest China has 3.81 trillion cubic meters, accounting for 15.19% of the national total. At present, shale gas wells that have obtained industrial gas flow are mainly concentrated in Sichuan Basin and its edge, Ordos Basin and its edge
the development of shale gas deposits in China has been a hot topic in recent years. First, shale gas reservoirs are generally buried deep, and the surface topography of shale gas rich areas is complex, densely populated, and engineering operations are difficult; Second, shale gas exploration and development requires specialized technologies such as horizontal well drilling and fracturing reconstruction. At present, China has not fully mastered the relevant core technologies; Third, China's shale gas production technology and equipment have a certain foundation, but there is a gap with the foreign advanced level in terms of system complete technology and some single supporting technology and equipment
development prospects of China's shale gas industry
with the increasing pressure to cope with climate change, improve energy structure and ensure energy security, accelerating China's shale gas development has been put on the agenda, and the growth of natural gas demand will promote China's shale gas development
according to BP world energy statistics 2012, China's natural gas accounted for 4.5% of primary energy consumption in 2010, while the world average was 23.7% in the same period, a difference of nearly five times. To achieve the proportion target of 9% in 2020 and 12% in 2030, China's natural gas consumption needs to achieve multiple growth. According to the 12th Five Year Plan of China's natural gas industry, China's natural gas consumption will reach more than 260billion cubic meters by 2015, while China's conventional natural gas production is expected to be about 150billion cubic meters by 2015. Therefore, vigorously developing shale gas can reduce the external dependence of China's natural gas to a certain extent and meet the energy demand of economic and social development
China's shale gas development technology has a certain foundation, and can achieve leadership through international cooperation and independent innovation. China has strong technology and production capacity in the manufacturing of drilling rigs, fracturing truck sets, downhole equipment and other equipment, but there is a gap with the international advanced level in the system complete technology and some single supporting technology and equipment. Shale gas in China is generally buried deep, which is quite different from the geological conditions in the United States, increasing the difficulty of development. Therefore, we need to reasonably learn from the American model, select more mature shale areas, strengthen technical cooperation with foreign companies, carry out pilot tests, and speed up the establishment of supporting technologies for exploration and development in line with the characteristics of China's shale gas reservoirs. At the same time, we must be based on independent innovation, increase R & D investment, mobilize various forces, and speed up the construction of China's shale gas technology development system
at present, China's shale gas development still faces a series of problems, such as no census of resource data, unclear mineral rights management, no established regulatory system, imperfect management facilities, no supporting policies, and imperfect service system. In recent years, the State Council has attached great importance to the development of shale gas, and relevant government departments have successively issued a number of measures to promote the development of shale gas, and the above problems will be gradually solved
the Ministry of land and resources has launched China's first shale gas resource exploration project, as well as the national shale gas resource potential investigation and evaluation and favorable area selection work, and plans to form shale gas resource technical standards and specifications by 2014. In the first shale gas mining right bidding and transfer held by the Ministry of land and resources, market access was appropriately relaxed and qualified private enterprises were encouraged to participate. The Ministry of land and resources also reviewed the work plan for shale gas resource management, and plans to declare shale gas as an independent mineral to the State Council for primary management
the national energy administration has issued the 12th Five Year Plan for shale gas development, proposing that China's shale gas production will increase to 6.5 billion cubic meters by 2015 and reach 60 billion to 100 billion cubic meters by 2020. These policies and measures are conducive to accelerating the process of shale gas development and forming an orderly competitive shale gas development pattern. However, since the exploration and development of shale gas in China is still in its infancy, and the industrial development has the characteristics of high risk and high cost, the government needs to continue to provide support in fiscal and tax policies, natural gas pricing mechanism and other aspects
impact of shale gas industry development on electricity
the development of shale gas will increase the supply of natural gas resources, and have a far-reaching impact on the combustion 2. Check whether the steel bar zigzag experimental machine and pedestal are solid fixed gas power generation, new energy acceptance and even the power structure
in the short term, the substitution effect of shale gas in the end-user market may have a certain impact on electricity sales. Due to the large gap between supply and demand of natural gas in China in the future, shale gas as a supplementary gas source will be its most important form of utilization. In general, during the 12th Five Year Plan period, China's shale gas will explore application modes such as local power generation, regional gas supply, local development of natural gas chemical industry, distributed energy supply, and use as transportation fuel, which are mainly used to meet local gas demand, with little impact on the power structure and layout, but may have a certain impact on local power consumption. In the long run, considering the relationship between China's shale gas resource distribution and power load distribution, the development of shale gas will have an impact on the layout of natural gas power generation. Shale gas in China is mainly distributed in the South (Upper Yangtze region such as Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and Chongqing, Central Yangtze region of Hunan, Hubei, lower Yangtze region such as Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang and Jiangxi), North China and Northeast China (Ordos Basin, Bohai Bay Basin, Songliao basin) and Northwest China (Junggar basin, Turpan Hami basin). Among them, the geological conditions of shale gas in the Sichuan Basin in the upper Yangtze region in the south, the middle and lower Yangtze region in the south, and the Ordos Basin in North China and Northeast China are the best. Its geographical distribution is basically consistent with the distribution of China's power load centers (East China, central China, South China, North China). Using shale gas for local power generation can gradually replace coal-fired units for power generation and reduce the increasing pressure of energy conservation and emission reduction. The northwest region is an area rich in intermittent renewable energy such as wind power. The large-scale development of shale gas resources on site can meet the growing demand for peak shaving
if the output of shale gas increases significantly and the cost continues to decrease in the future, the establishment of gas peak shaving power stations will play a good supporting role in China's future large-scale new energy power generation. However, at present, due to the unstable gas source and high gas price, the electricity price of natural gas power generation is generally higher than 1 yuan/kWh, which is much higher than that of coal-fired power benchmark. Looking forward to the future, if shale gas is developed on a large scale and the gas price drops, this high-quality peak shaving power supply can not only effectively support large-scale new energy power generation, but also play a positive role in the safe and stable operation of electricity. understanding shale gas
shale gas refers to unconventional natural gas existing in shale formation in an adsorbed or free state. Its composition is mainly methane, which is widely distributed in almost all basins, but it has different industrial values due to the great differences in burial depth and gas saturation. Compared with conventional natural gas, shale gas has its own characteristics in exploitation and gas reservoir
shale gas has a long mining life and production cycle, and the mining life can reach at least 30 to 50 years. Most gas producing shales are widely distributed, thick and generally contain gas, so that shale gas wells can produce gas at a stable rate for a long time. The reservoir of shale gas reservoir is generally characterized by low porosity and low permeability, and the gas flow resistance is greater than that of conventional natural gas. Most wells need to implement reservoir fracturing before exploitation
in addition, the recovery rate of shale gas is lower than that of conventional natural gas. The recovery rate of conventional natural gas is more than 60%, while that of shale gas is only 5% to 60%. Therefore, the development of shale gas needs advanced development technology as support
