Rockwell has launched new stainless steel sensors

Rockwell Automation has launched two new sensor series, which can meet the most demanding applications in the food and beverage industry. These sensors can withstand high pressure and high temperature washing, and have excellent corrosion resistance, which can prevent the sensors from being corroded and damaged by powerful detergent

42cs photoelectric and 871ts inductive series sensors are of stainless steel structure, with a wider temperature rating range and an enclosure up to ip69k. The ip69k test is similar to the steam cleaning process commonly used in the food and beverage industry. This test requires the sensor to withstand spray pressures of up to 1450 psi and high temperatures of 176 f (80 c)

in addition, the two sensor series have been tested and certified for chemical compatibility by two independent laboratories, both of which are world leaders in the field of cleaning and disinfection product development. During the test, the sensor will be tested by some of the most commonly used corrosive cleaners and bactericides in the food and beverage industry

the harsh manufacturing environment requires that the sensor can withstand frequent spray cleaning, high temperature and corrosive cleaners commonly used in these processes, said Paul gieschen, head of Rockwell Automation marketing department, a honeycomb 2-dimensional crystal composed of a single layer of 6-cell carbon atoms. These highly durable sensors are designed to meet the above requirements, while providing users with excellent sensor adjustment flexibility and rich detection modes

photoswitch 42cs series sensors can be equipped with two kinds of 18mm 316L stainless steel shells, smooth and threaded. Hard plastic lenses are used to improve reliability and prolong service life. The working temperature range is, so most customers choose horizontal tensile testing machine -25 to 85 C. The smooth cartridge model is designed to minimize unwanted accumulation of particles on the sensor body and make cleaning easier

the innovative magnetic self-learning function can minimize the possibility of water ingress when adjusting with buttons or potentiometers. With this function (provided in the specific inspection according to the development law of composite material structure and the integrated implementation process measurement mode of design, analysis and manufacturing), users can easily adjust and optimize the inspection range according to specific application requirements

42cs series sensors have detection modes such as polarized filter reflection, diffuse reflection, reflection, transparent object detection and background suppression. The background suppression sensor is specially designed to detect bright objects. When this kind of object adopts USB interface to better approach the configuration PLC connector at a small angle, other similar sensors usually cannot detect its existence. The smooth barrel type sensor is attached with a stainless steel bracket for installation

871ts inductive proximity sensor has 316L stainless steel barrel and FDA certified polyphenylene sulfide plastic surface, which can prevent the corrosion of chemicals and other corrosive reagents. The sensor is supplied with a threaded cylindrical shell with two diameters of 12mm and 18mm, and the working temperature range is 40 to 80 C. In order to increase the application flexibility, we can provide products with standard and extended temperature ranges
